Spiderman Loves Mary Jane- I miss you~!

So Generally i am not a big fan of mainstream stuff, call it bucking the system or whatever you wish. I just typically do not enjoy the superhero, spandex clad, big breasted women of those sorts of things. Granted i do love bone, and those sort, but i usually run at the sight of spandex. So call me surprised when i found my love for spiderman loves Mary Jane which at the time was just mary jane. I was at some hole in the wall lame excuse for a comic convention out of a knights of Columbus hall, when i stumbled upon a 3 pack of MJ, for a buck. So i figured hey why not. I crack it open and by a few pages in i am intrigued.

After several comics and a few graffic novels, it stops. The art got kind of crappy in comparision to its predecessors, and whamo no warning it stops.

So i ask to my readers, where are my Smlmj?

Anyways moving on, the art is wonderful, smooth lines, easily read facial expressions and you can genuinely feel for the characters as you go along. I hate when you have a comic and you have to guess how they feel because their facial expressions are so terrible. The issues are in color, the story is wonderful and moves along greatly. If you arent into teenie bopper superhero stunt lacking stuff this isnt for you, there are are a few "superhero" stunts where spidey saves mj, but only twice. If you enjoy any of Chynna Clugston Majors Blue Monday, Scooter Girl, Strangetown, etc. Then you may enjoy this. I am in no way comparing Chynnas stuff to this, i think she is wonderful, but it has similarities.

(*edit- i looked up for spiderman loves Mj and it says it will be relaunched again, relatively in the near future, with Terry Moore, and Adrian Alphona)

Anyways- Thats all for today!
Expect more frequent updates-
Oh and the original art looks like whats featured up top, i cant find any of the new artists work.
